By using the services of Maryland Rent Notices, LLC (T/A RentCourtAgent℠), you (“the Buyer”) agree to the following:
Not a Law Firm – You acknowledge that RentCourtAgent℠ is not a law firm and only acts as a landlord’s agent in limited-scope court proceedings. If you have legal questions, comments, or concerns, you will consult an attorney.
Required Reading – If you are filing cases, you confirm you have read the Rent Court 101 page.
Representation Scope – Fees paid for a Failure to Pay Rent (FTP) notice cover the first scheduled appearance in court, unless otherwise stated. Any additional appearances, if available, will require an additional fee to be determined at the time of service.
Baltimore County Filing Schedule – FTP filings in Baltimore County are submitted on the 3rd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Filings received after those deadlines will be held until the 3rd of the following month.
Right to Amend Filings – You grant RentCourtAgent℠ the right to amend filings to ensure they comply with applicable local, county, state, and federal law.
Accuracy of Information – You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted through our website or service providers’ websites. This includes, but is not limited to, tenant names, addresses, amounts due, and details of special court proceedings. RentCourtAgent℠ is not responsible for correcting errors in filings.
Refund Policy – All sales are final. RentCourtAgent℠ does not offer refunds.
No Warranty – RentCourtAgent℠ provides services “as is” and makes no warranties of any kind.
Age & Payment Authorization – You affirm that you are 18 years or older, not subject to the Child Online Privacy Protection Act, and are the authorized owner of the payment method used (credit card, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle). Unauthorized use may result in civil and/or criminal prosecution.

Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) Compliance – You affirm under penalty of perjury that within the last 30 days, you checked tenant(s) military status at https://scra.dmdc.osd.mil/scra/#/home and confirmed that tenant(s) are not on active military duty.
Property Licensing – You affirm under penalty of perjury that the property is properly licensed in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Document Submission Policy – RentCourtAgent℠ does not accept or use photos of documents as court evidence. This includes, but is not limited to, leases, ledgers, lead certificates, rental licenses, and emails.
Effective Date – These Terms of Service were originally created on 11/26/2020, went into effect on 01/01/2021, and were last updated on 09/30/2025.
